Yes!! I did the treadmill 4 days last week, took the day off yesterday (Sunday) and was back on there this afternoon. So far I'm only doing 20 mins at a slow speed, but it's something! After the 20 mins I am sweating and breathing hard, so I know I'm making a difference. I have a set of headphones and watch movies while I walk. I decided I'm going to give every movie a short review when I'm done with it. I'll share my ratings on this blog. They'll be mostl...Read Full Post »

Oh dear!! Here it is almost five months later! What happened?? Okay, to be honest, I just plain didn't start. I'm sure many who are reading this have done the same thing. Best of intentions and then not starting at all. The worst part is, that in the meantime I've gained yet MORE weight! I now tip the scales at a "Rubenesque x3" 250 pounds!! Ugh!! This is the heaviest weight I have EVER been in my entire life.

So, I lost 15 pounds in the month of June. That was the start of this journey, really. I was 245 pounds, which is my highest number EVER in my life. In June I started walking daily on my treadmill and restricting calories, eating 5x a day, small meals with low fat/low carb choices.
