Yes!! I did the treadmill 4 days last week, took the day off yesterday (Sunday) and was back on there this afternoon. So far I'm only doing 20 mins at a slow speed, but it's something! After the 20 mins I am sweating and breathing hard, so I know I'm making a difference. I have a set of headphones and watch movies while I walk. I decided I'm going to give every movie a short review when I'm done with it. I'll share my ratings on this blog. They'll be mostly older movies, because I have a VHS player in the room where the treadmill is, but since I can get VHS tapes for free, I'll just use that for the time being. It works fine and it gives me something to take my mind off the drudgery of exercise and something to look forward to when I get on the treadmill each time.
I need to get the dieting portion of this strategy online now. I am going to do the fast diet, but need to have a plan for the days when I'm not fasting. I may do something very structured for a short time just to get myself going so I can lose some quickly and feel successful. I think I'll go back to Spark People and being logging in my foods again.
I haven't weighed in since I've been exercising, but that is because I don't think I've lost much, if anything, because I'm still eating poorly. I will weigh in after a few days of food counting so that I'll be encouraged.
